Hello, my name is Dr. Allen Simmons, and I am sending this message to you to ask you for your vote as I am running as a candidate for school board in the city of Hackensack, New Jersey in the upcoming election on November 4th, 2025.

 

For some time, I have noticed that there has been a decline in the show of values, accountability, and transparency in our governmental institutions. This decline has affected the condition of our schools, the academic performance in our classrooms, and the quality of the curriculum for our students. Overall, this is having a deleterious effect on student performance across our district, and this pattern must change. There needs to be a serious refocus on academic progress, support to our teachers, and a restoration of budgetary transparency and accountability in our educational processes. To make this happen, I need your support in being an advocate for our students on the school board in this upcoming election. I know that with your support, we can bring a resolve to the myriad issues affecting our students and restore academic quality and excellence to our schools in Hackensack.
